Four players had Denver going the distance:
mysteryman, Kolyo, RJB, AndyD

Three players chose GB as the ultimate winner:
fbeazer, CowDoc, MizDoc

Choosing Atlanta to get the Vince Lombardy trophy are ehbeth and JPB.

Tico is on an island with his choice of Seattle.

San Francisco is the choice of Spademaster, Costal Rat, and osso.

Everyone else went with New England.

CowDoc, MizDoc, and RJB had both Denver and Green Bay as the conference champions and will not earn any additional pts after this weekend.

We are split 9 (Atl) - 14 (Seattle) in the first game today.

Only JPB, Costal Rat and Tico have selected Houston in game 2.

@JPB,
If I am here mate...I will update the points tonight...Since you were nice enough to post what they were after 2 games...And with the 4 points for a perfect score...

If I am not here...And you do it mate...I will try to be here to do it for next week...

Problem is...Most times I go out for the games...

@XXSpadeMasterXX,
Not a problem. I've got it in a spreadsheet. Takes only seconds to update the wins and scores.

trying to make sense of the GB-SF game...

is Kaepernick really that good?

or was the packer D really that bad...

@Region Philbis,
A little of both mate...

Kaep is very good...So long as he stays healthy...Packers D was not playing that well near the end...And no real way to stop a mobile QB who can pass also unless you put licks on him, and make him not want to run...

@XXSpadeMasterXX,
He's good and he's increasing in accuracy, both from his college years and this preseason. Still learning some aspects of zee nfl game and flubs up on occasion, but routinely gets right past his goofups. Within this season, he's had to learn to throw short (or improve on it) and work with receivers whose hands hurt after catching or not quite catching one of his hard throws.

Packers game planners seem not to have researched his ways before game time.

@JPB,
Now that my picks both went "teats up" in the first two games, I can sit back and just enjoy the rest of the playoffs. By the way, there's a great picture on Facebook this morning. It's a shot of Peyton Manning on the field, with the caption: "They told me I could be anything I wanted, so I became Tony Romo."

@ossobuco,
Adds, he has a quick brain, great field vision, thus makes fast reads.

@Region Philbis,
SF is really good. So is Atlanta. If the Falcons get past the Seahawks today we'll have a really good game next week.

The level of overconfidence this week among Patriot fandom is unsettling.
I'm the only Pats fan I know who's worried about Houston.

@CowDoc,
Yeah, but I do not even think he played that bad...Or fell apart like Romo does...His OC is too blame for running it 3 times instead of going for the first to kill the game and playing it conservative...Cause if they get it, the game is over...If they do not and run...Then there is still time like there was....If they pass and do not get it...Then a TD only ties it up anyways and then they may get the ball back....And I think his D is to blame because they played well early (I am considering special teams on there) and in OT to give Peyton a shot...Which he did not do anything....But their corners and safeties were getting beat all day long....And the one thing they could not allow was to let anyone get past them with 30 seconds left....and Jacoby Jones beat the D again...

It is crazy...I thought your bracket was pretty solid....And I would have gone with GB and Denver also...As my second bracket

@George,
It is a bit unsettling mate....Houston really does not have much pressure on them at all, since no one thinks they will win...It is kinda like Baltimore yesterday...
