@Ragman,
You said the key...It was their Defense...Colin made some nice plays...But their D shut Atalanta out in the second half...And why they overcame those missed points....

@Ragman,
That's good too, I don't happen to dislike the Falcons.

@ossobuco,
The Falcons detractors are in the media and sports talk shows.

Game time again.

Go Pats!

Watch for the trend set by the Pats in their first 2 possessions!

My prediction. Another 28-24 score

@XXSpadeMasterXX,
He can do a running play any minute.
My interest is that he can be capable of that and still self protect.

Kaep and probably others need to be careful on this. Very careful, which, obviously they aren't.

This is a larger question within the league.

@ossobuco,
I agree with you...Only thing that could really stop them...

They got the win...But I guess I just like to see teams go for the win with that first down...rather than playing it safe...Both Denver, and Seattle lost last week because of that....

@XXSpadeMasterXX,
better football minds than mine work out game plans - I'm still not clear on all sorts of formations.

Sometimes those minds mess up.

Moving on first down is just a slurpie.
Sometimes the whole cone, but don't count on it.

@ossobuco,
I am not sure if you understand what I am saying?...I was just saying...When San Fran had the ball with one minute left...On that one drive...I would have called a timeout (Colin, or Jim) I would have set Colin up with 3 great plays to get the first to ice the game...I would of had 2 great QB sneaks to do it, in there....And not just run it 3 times to give Atlanta the ball back...Not really a big deal since the 49ers D stepped up...But Denver and Seattle lost last week playing it safe....And it was close with Atlanta also...

Just on that one drive...not trying to run it on first...Or any other drive....In particular....

I just like to see the teams go for it with the first 3 downs...

@XXSpadeMasterXX,
I'll have to say, whatever.
I do the best I can, snippety person that I am, with no tv.

So, do you play? I am guessing you don't just like I don't.
I have followed football for a long time, more from the social aspects - though social isn't the right word.

You follow moves more that I do, and therefore get to criticise them more than I do. I'm listening.

@Region Philbis,
Well, more like rubber soles first.

But it's a bad idea to leave your leg up like that. Someone's liable to take it
off for you.

@Region Philbis,
Oddly, I didn't spikes on his shoes, actually (unless I missed 'em). Though, it wasn't the wisest move. Could've ended up with busted leg or a defender's injury.

@George,
Mayo tackles Pitta with a massive but clean hit. Pitta then scores a TD on the very next play. Oh, this one is a beaut!
