Why hasnt he wrote me back?

I started talking to this guy online and we have been talking for a month and met twice. The last time I talked to him is before he went to visit his family in a different state that he hasnt seen in a while (hes in the military). He didnt set off any signs that he wasnt interested in me anymore but Its been 5 days now since I've heard from him, and I kind of made him mad last time I texted him but I dont think mad enough to not talk to me again. He told me he'll text me later and that was 5 days ago. I texted him last nite and said I guess later isnt coming and he never wrote back. Do you think he is ever going to talk to me again?

It's the holidays and he's visiting family. If you don't hear from him by the 12th day of Chirstmas, start to worry but for now find some friends and enjoy the New Year.

I havent called him, and I texted him one last time yesturday and said I guess your done talking to me basically and he never wrote back so Im guessing hes going to be a dick and not say goodbye
