You're not that old relative to lots of the rest of us at a2k.

Some of us have moved from computer illiterate to pretty dumb with computers - like me.

If you want your threads to go into the english forum, then after you type your opening post, look at the window below that says Tags, and add the word english into the window. That puts it in the english forum. Same as if you used the tag 'pancakes' the post would go into the pancakes forum.

I agree with your analysis of sentence 2 (with the potential addition of the imperiousness that only an exasperated primary school teacher could convey).

So I perceive sentence 1 to be slightly more neutral too although the intent inherent in the speaker's tone would make a considerable difference.
