We’re staying in! It’s only going to be a high of 60 degrees today! If this weather keeps up I’m going into hibernation.

@tsarstepan,
how about Bugs with a carrot, tsar. Maybe that will make you feel better.

I love mornings, but around 4 p.m. I can get melancholy. Usually I take a 45 minute nap then I feel better.

Perhaps you are just tired.

@tsarstepan,
Sunday morning is laundry time for me.

It's kinda weird.

I started doing this in university as I knew no one else would be in the co-op laundry Sunday mornings as they'd be sleeping off Saturday nights.

30+ years later I still tend to do laundry on Sunday mornings even though there's no one preventing me from using the machine any other time.

I've tried adjusting my laundry schedule, but I've been unsuccessful so far.

@ehBeth,
are you on Time of Use with your hydro?

we normally did our laundry on the weekends anyway, but more so since the rates are lowest

@ehBeth,
I tend to wait for Mr B to announce that he's out of something and then I do whatever laundry there is to do.

I'm going to fertilize all of my indoor plants today. They'll be very happy!

Aren't we all? Unless you're militant (about anything) then your pentagonal.

Well, it's a miserable Monday morning here.

5.20am. Comfortable temperature (around 20C currently, I'd guess), looks like it will be a nice day.

I'm having breakfast before heading off on the 3 hour drive to Bathurst to see what's happening with my seriously ill / dementing aunt, who keeps refusing treatment and/or care, even though she can't look after herself.

I'll take her abuse, etc., for a couple of hours, then turn around and drive back another 3 hours.

Happy New Year!

@margo,
That's hard, Margo.

Are you the one in the spot of having to intervene? (None of my business, of course).
