I noticed it for the first time yesterday...and I just noticed it right now when I wanted to reply to everyone rather than just to you.

Funny...even though I occasionally used it, I always considered it superfluous. But now that it is gone, I realize I use it more than just occasionally...and I find that I am missing it a lot.

When I first noticed it, it was in one of Robert's threads...and I actually had a pang of "Damn, he just decides that people have to reply to him rather than to everyone."

Stops? I mean it just stops. Doesn't continue. It ends on December 31, and just stops. Nothing comes after that. I'm searching for meaning in all this, but haven't come up with anything reassuring. The world might end on New Year's Day -- if there really is a new year.
