ok
so if i'm gonna try digressin' here, i'm gonna need some room to dance

move over
clear away
i need space for this

If you change your mind, I'm the first in line
Honey I'm still free
Take a chance on me
If you need me, let me know, gonna be around
If you've got no place to go, if you're feeling down
If you're all alone when the pretty birds have flown
Honey I'm still free
Take a chance on me
Gonna do my very best and it ain't no lie
If you put me to the test, if you let me try
Take a chance on me
(That's all I ask of you honey)
Take a chance on meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

We can go dancing[/color], we can go walking, as long as we're together
Listen to some music, maybe just talking, get to know you better
Cos you know I've got
So much that I wanna do, when I dream I'm alone with you
It's magic
You want me to leave it there, afraid of a love affair
But I think you know
That I can't let go

Diane, "We" can't make out your avatar. I tried to copy it to my photo shop, and lighten the photo, but it's still difficult to see what it is. It looks like an eggplant with two red flowers. Can you 'reveal' your secret avatar? Thx, c.i.

AND ehBeth, your post about the
remarkable behavior of our kitty
cats is SO ON THE MONEY. My
baby daughter ( 31 and still my
baby!!) sent me the most adorable
T shirt that says; "I will ignore and
disdain you for food". How very
very true.

Well, we had our staff chrissy do today - at a fabulous clifftop seashore restaurant called "The Star of Greece".

'Twas fabulous company, stunning view, wonderful food - but.... being such a popular restaurant, it was booked out indoors (dashed odd construction, that, if I do say so myself), and we had to sit outside under a roofed in and blind-shaded pergola thingy - and 'twas well over 100 F!

Now, I was fine, really, being sensible enough not to partake of alchohol under those conditions - knowing that general hilarity is sufficient to stimulate the joys of mild inebriation in me, without any of the sadder consequences - (nor leaving me with a single excuse should my faux intoxication lead to unfortunate behaviour... of the kind that leads one to utter, with perplexed regret, that saddest of all phrases in English: "It seemed like a good idea at the time".... but I digress) - but some of my beloved colleagues had, by the time I left, turned the sad, parboiled red of the common lobster; and all of us were very hot and tired and frenziedly consuming glasses of iced water.

You will be pleased to know that a group of highly trained, skilled and experienced professionals, charged with assisting in the complexities of the lives of our saddest citizens, were, as usual, unable to organise a simple Kris Kingle without there being a need for a last second, frenzied dash to the shops for extra presents.....

How empirical of you to conduct yourself with unsuitable decorum, Deb. But then, were you able to maintain that level of sobriety once you had hopped on home?

(btw, hope your a/c is working okay in that heat.)

Did the bunny have stewed prunes at the CrissyDo?
Did the bunny have carrot tops at the CrissyDo?
What is a bunny to do at the CrissyDo, when all around are eyeing her fine plump thighs,
and imagining them on a bbq.
