You are acting like these ideas are somehow a problem when in fact they are reasonable to most Americans and ideas that are not new, but are familiar in our history.

That you don't see the problem is quite telling.

Obama didn't run on a platform of "eventually" raising taxes on the middle class, he ran on cutting them.

Apparently you are one of the Obama cognoscenti that understands what he will do, despite what he pledged, and have no problem with it.

Raising taxes on the folks who voted for Obama (with the exception of liberal millionaires) will not be considered "reasonable."

You can't play to the herd and then expect them to reason individually.

@djjd62,
You got it better than me. I'm allergic to politicians. Any less than a few yards of one, I turn into a werewolf.

@Enzo,
i never get close to a politician, but i will enter a polling station now and again (though here in Ontario, we've been entering them a bit to often these past few years)

@Finn dAbuzz,
And for whom did you vote Finn?

Max didn't want to end a sentence with a preposition. So he ended it with a Finn. Smile

@maxdancona,
What difference does it make who I voted for?

In any case it's hardly a secret that I voted for Romney, and, if he had won, I would not be blithely wrtting about how sensible it will be for him to increase EPA regulations, and wondering how that could be a problem for the people who put him in office.

Didn't you intend a didn't where I've placed the bold didn't, Finn?

You could have fixed it in a manner more appropriate to the setting with,

Who did you vote for, Finn?
