Is he flirting?

I started work in a small shop about 8 months ago. My boss has been great since day one always friendly! There seems to be sexual tension between a is but am I imagining it? There is often silence between us when we walk past each other we just catch each others eyes! It can be very intense...I think he know what I want to do haha I don't know if he likes me! He will sometimes stand behind me leaning over me saying nothing not even excuse me! Also when I walk in at my shift he tends to say things like here she comes! He has a tendency to wind other people up about fancying me even though they are old! He is older than me about 6 years! We have a good laugh together and when I do jobs for him he's like that's my girl ur a star.....I'm just confused I don't know what to think?! Anyone any ideas?

@Michelle75,
I think you shouldn't be entertaining such thoughts about your boss, regardless of what's really going on. Sheesh, think for a second - what happens if you do go out/sleep together and then break up?

Don't date someone at work who is at a level above or below you. It is a power trip for the person above, in terms of having something over you, and it is a power trip for the person below, being able to attract someone of such alleged quality. But it's not quality; it's manipulation.

He may see you as a little sister . . .
Unless you suggest seeing him outside the job, you are never going to really know.
But I do agree, messing around with the boss is a No-No.
Find another job and see if he still likes you as much.
