There's been a UN report critical of lack of UN action during the war which lead to huge civilian casualties.

Channel 4 have been at the forefront in pointing out the human rights abuses on both sides, long before the UN publication came out. If you want to know more you can follow the link I gave, but it makes very grim reading

I think it's a bit late to get the 12Nov programme on Channel 4's player now. I'm sorry I can't help any more, I don't know what publications are popular in Sri Lanka, nor do I know of a Sri Lankan website in French. There may be links on Channel 4's site, but that's about all I can suggest.

Your best bet is to check out the C4 website, theres lots on Sri Lanka there.

Failing that, this is the official government website.
