not sure about boyfriends past...

So I am sorry to bother everyone, but I have been madly in love with my boyfriend for the past several years, but have recently found out some info on him that to say the least isn't the best. He really is a great guy, but really not sure as my girlfriend always says that people can't change. I wanted to get others opinions as he really could be the one for me and help to raise my 3 year old son. He has always been a great to my son, but my boy really needs a good man in his life. I haven't asked him yet, just don't know how. Any ideas?

You've been madly in love with him for several years, and you only just now found out he's been in jail as a car thief and burglar and assaulter going back to 1995? You never realised? Ask him why he never told you.

I'm not going to follow the links, but it might make a difference what he was convicted of.

Without saying to ignore this, you might weigh your own judgement against the opinion of a judge. You might even get his perspective on the situation.
