When I am in a file using Microsoft Word and I press Ctrl-End, sometimes it moves the cursor to the right-end of the line I was on. Other times, it moves the cursor to the bottom of the file.

How should each of these two operations be done?

@gollum,
It's doing the same thing. If there are blank lines at the end of your document, it will move to the end of them, making it look different than if you don't have blank lines. Then it just moves to the end of the last line.

@engineer,
If I have the cursor on the left-most position of the first line in a 100 line file and I then press Ctrl-End, should the cursor go to the right-most position on line 1, or the right-most position on line 100?

@gollum,
The latter.

@engineer,
I just tried it and it went to the right-most position on the first line.

@gollum,
I just tried it in my version and it went to the end of the document. What version are you running?

@gollum,
I'm using 2010. I guess if you tried it you know the answer so you are set. I'm surprised it is different.
