There's a factor in last night's debate which affected people at a deep psychic level even if they wouldn't be able to articulate it and that is the obvious 40+ point IQ differential. Romney clearly was working from a deep basic understanding of issues while Obunga was merely parroting and regurgitating stuff which had been pounded into his head via cram sessions similar to cramming for an undergrad history test. For that reason several of Obunga's responses sounded out of place or irrelevant even when he didn't appear totally wrong and he never sounded smooth or polished. It was like listening to one engine running smoothly and another which was missing on two cylinders.
@gungasnake,
I think you confuse IQ with Hucksterism. Romney has a history in snake oil so hed make a great side show barker,(but not a presidenet)
Did Thurston even know that we have fewer horses and bayonets in our military materiel lists today?
@farmerman,
Believe it or not, at the time they invaded Russia in WW-II, the German army still mainly moved on horses.
In response to the muslim terrorists attack on 9/11 the very first
US military special forces entered Afghanistan on horses.
Today, many US troops are issued bayonets and trained in there use, just ask a Marine.
A ship that goes underwater is known as a ship wreck.
Submarines are called BOATS.
Romney did a excellent job of not laughing at Obama's ignorance out loud
@gungasnake,
Did they ride on or in the german tanks?
@RABEL222,
I was going to ask GanjaSnaKKKe how the Germans put tracks on horses.
Rap
It could have been worse of course... it could have been Bork vs Newt Gingrich, which would have been an 80-point IQ differential.
