Choiced garment?

Do you think the grammar and rhetoric of the following are proper?

Los Angeles Third Commodities Fair and the International Choiced Garments Exposition

Personally, I think "choice" has been already an adjective, so just using "choice" is good enough, while using "choiced" is actually an error.

No, the grammar & rhetoric is mixed up. In fact, it is hard to tell exactly what this means.

My assumption is that Choiced Garments are high quality clothing. Choiced Garments could also mean, I suppose, that these were garments chosen (ie. a choice was made) possibly in some sort of competition. Garments could also be cultural costuming of some kind.

Also, if the exposition is being held at the same time/same place as the commodities fair, then the "the" should be dropped. If the exposition shouldn't be so closely connected to the fair for some reason, then whatever is its sponsoring body could be added to the title, towit:

either
the Los Angeles Third Commodities Fair and International Choice Garments (or Fine Quality Clothing) Exposition

"Clothing" means all sorts of garments and is a more common term & usage. "Fine Clothing" implies designer styles, better material & workmanship.

or you might say:

the Los Angeles Third Commodities Fair and Oristar Originals International XXX Garments Exposition

XXX could be blank, Winning*, Choice, Style, Quality, Fine or Designer

Garments could also be Clothing or Costumes

*if these are winners, then the selection group could be noted

Very Happy I think that about covers it. Wink
