Help! I can't find the answer! Does anyone know this one?
What was the name of the anti-Castro Group at the Bay of Pigs?
These are the choices:
de la Monico, La Brigada, Los Cocinos, or Padre de Ciento
Anything sound familiar? I know Spanish, but this isn't my 'strong suit' in trivia ... and can you tell me how you know or where you got the answer?
Thanks = )
uhhmm .... A-mer-i-cans?
nah ... i have no clue (obviously)
As per google, the group called themselves "Brigade 2506".
Bahia de Cochinos = Bay of pigs
la Brigada 2506 = the answer
Actually, the plain "La Brigada" as listed in the original options would be a correct answer, since the "2506" was added after the landing to honor the first casualty. 2506 was his identification number.
Thank you all so much! I'm so glad I found this sight!
