I can't find the right words!!

My vocabulary is awful & it's driving me crazy that I can't think of the right words to describe the way a person acts. Is there someplace on the web I can look up words that describe types of people or ways people are. Also is there an easy way to get a better vocabulary? And to say what I mean or feel. I don't even think I'm using the right words in these few sentences! Any help would be appreciated. thanks!

Try this. When writing, a thesaurus can help you find the right words you are looking for.

Reference books offer an immediate fix--which is very useful. For long-range vocabulary development read-read-read and listen to people who handle the English language with grace and wit.

Good luck.

Read. Read a book or a newspaper or maybe even
something here on-line. The topic under discussion may not interest you but you will learn new words.
(I learned "sentient" yesterday-from someone posing as a cat).
