@kittujai,
Try Claritin or Zyrtec.

@kittujai,
I haven't tried this - but it was suggested to me that I eat honey made from local bees. Would seem to make sense - but I cannot confirm/guarantee if it does work.

I figure I will try to find a local bee keeper/honey maker person and try it out. What the heck can't hurt ya?

@Linkat,
I'm sure Linkat meant "honey made by local bees", not "from local bees".

@kittujai,
Pollen allergies can cause sniffling, sneezing, runny eyes, coughing and general malaise. There can be many tips to get rid of your pollen allergy. You can have local honey to drastically reduce or even eliminate a pollen allergy. You can also Try acupuncture and chiropractic therapy.

@kittujai,
A neti pot with distilled/filtered water works well to flush allergens out of your nostrils.

A good air purifier with a HEPA filter for your living space will also help.
