When do you know that a man is too comfortable in a relationship and will not seem to commit and no responsibility with your life is it time to go??.. Just broke off a relationship of 5 1/2 years, comes over only 3 nights a week even thought i love this man, might be the years and the comfort of knowing this person.. or hoping he would come to his senses..

A year is a pretty tangible length of time. Your mileage will vary but, bottom line, if things aren't going one way or another after a year, talk. If dissatisfied with responses, either act to change them or depart.
How old are you two?
I like seeing someone 3 nights a week. But I am over 60 and have no intention of getting married again. I have a full life, but like the companionship - for 3 times a week only.
Seems it is enough for this guy, too.
