So here is where we are in determining a winner in Week #11-
If San Francisco wins tonight, there will be four players tied for 1st after going 13-1 (the miscue was picking St L over the Jets):
Cowdoc (who sees a final score of 17-12 = 29)
Ragman (21-10 = 31)
JPLosman (20-13 = 33)
Rhys (27-14 = 41)
The first tiebreaker would go to Cowdoc if the total points are fewer than 29.
Ragman is boxed in. To win he needs the score to be exactly 31. Losman is in charge if we are between 33 and 36 and Rhys wins if the total score is 38 or more.
There's more. Edgar (29-25 = 54) and Wandeljw (20-17 = 37) would join the others at 12-2 if Chicago wins, creating an unprecedented six way tie. Losman's window shrinks t0 either 33 or 34; Wandeljw hopes for a score between 36 and 45 leaving Rhys needing a score between 38 and 47. Edgar will win if Chicago wins and the total points is 48 or more.
I think I have that all right.
Ragman and Edgar are the two contenders yet to win a week.

@realjohnboy,
I don't remember winning a week. Easy lies the crown..

Good stat effort, John.

I'm looking forward to seeing what happens with SF and Chi. I like both of them in my mix of sentimental and how the team works ways, + to SF.

@realjohnboy,
Somehow we have a disconnect. I think I had 17-10 as my tie-breaker.

You are right. 17-10. You, not Cowdoc, are in control in the event of a low scoring game. Thanks for the correction.

@realjohnboy,
As I Intimated earlier, John, you are bound to get more ties in those weeks when the bulk of the bookie's overdogs are being followed by a significant number of players give or take one or two sentimental leanings.

JPB is leading in the spread game and if the Bears win can't be caught. I think Zona made the difference. On the evidence of 8 or 9 weeks it looks as if the bookies are consistenly underestimating the margins by which their ODs win. Only a handful are in the red. Again.

I have a 6 way tie for 2nd who all seem to have picked alike.

@spendius,
You are so coy.
I have no idea if I won a week.
Did I tell you CowDoc and Roger and I had lunch? Roger has extremely neg interest in sports, we all like each other passed differences, and Mrs. Cowdoc needs to pick up the pastry.

I need to work on passed and past.

McGentrix emailed me last week (Wednesday?) saying he was going to be out of town all this week. As I recall, but I may be wrong, he has a routine of making a pilgrimage to Las Vegas this time of year.
I looked at his picks for Week #12 today:
Hou, Dal, NE, Tenn, Buff, Pitt, Oak, Den, Mia, Atl, Chi, Balt, Az, SF, GB and Phil. He didn't give a final score in the Carolina @ Philly game.
I might revisit that after Thursday.

It won't be at all hard after tonight's game, wandeljw. My job here is to be the huckster; keeping as many people as I can keep watching though the next A2K commercial.
Have you seen this one here?

@CowDoc,
I've long followed Kaepernick, and he's on my fantasy team though not playing right now. Man has a good arm, and brain, has needed some practice.
