@Ticomaya,

Yes. The NFL listened to you.

I suppose I might flatter myself that they did Tico. Why not?

The real point is that when I did draw attention to the obvious injustice of the first to score system there were some here who defended it on the grounds that it's "our game" and we are not having any two-bit Limeys telling us what to do.

A bit like Suez.

@spendius,
So far, in 260 selections only 59 have beat the spread. One player needs the Chargers to win tonight by more than 3 to avoid a whitewash.

@George,
I'll see your bid and raise you one. So far this year, I've had my 2 lowest weekly totals in all the years I've been playing. It's all Romney's fault.

I ended up taking Sunday afternoon off. I checked today to see how we fared in the five late games.
Not too well, to say the least. We made a total of a hundred picks as a group in the late games and we were correct in a mere fourteen of them!
I have JPLosman at 7-6 so far this week. He picks Denver tonight. Osso, JPB and Tico are 6-7 and are choosing San Diego.
Jespah and McGentrix are also at 6-7 but have Denver. They are out of contention for the weekly prize.

@realjohnboy,
I haven't gotten into contention yet this year, this is so exciting. Of course it will pass, SD will do some damned thing to mess up.

Pass that risotto with hot sausages over this way. Oh, and some salad.

@realjohnboy,
At a glance jespah is in the lead in the spread game with some inspired picking.

Wow ... 24-0 at the half, Denver had done nothing but screw up ... I had that one in the books for San Diego. I left at halftime, and came back to find out Denver won. That's crazy.
