@The Smart Money,
Just so I have your terminology correct is this the situation?
Panthers began at -2.5. So anybody betting on them lost £31.50 at $ a unit stake? I expect that is right but I wish to make sure as I must admit I do have some difficulty with the productions of the US educational system which I presume is quite expensive. Even starting at +1 the loss was $28.
Our low scoring games require unit minimums of £10.
The idea that either game is more exciting that the other is plain silly to a sporting gentleman.
Do you do composite betting. Say-- 10 points for a TD. 1 point for a FG. 3 points for a 1st down, 2 for a 2nd and 1 for a 3rd. 1 point for every yard past the 10 yard line. (a 40 yd TD gets 30 on the yards and 10 for the TD). -5 for a yellow flag. -20 for a failed red. - the penalty imposed. -10 punting. - 50 for a sending off. The bookie puts a number up and the punter bets up or down on it.
You would be amazed at how exciting a 2-2 tie can be. Right to the wire.
