@George,
I'm thinking close to your picks, George. Still cogitating, but my selections could be bad news for you.

Week #2 was indeed a disaster. As a group we got just 47% right vs 63% in Week #1.
Coastalrat went 10-6 win the week. He was followed by Tico, Jespah, Lionamerx and Johnboy at 9-7. Breaking even at 8-8 were JPLostman, Edgar, McGentrix, Ragman, Region, George and Cowdoc.
Mysteryman, JPB and Wandeljw scored 7-9's. Osso and Rhys finished at 6-10. AndyD and Ehbeth struggled in at 5-11.
The worst ESPN expert was 7-9 while the best one went a noteworthy 12-4.

@realjohnboy,
Cowdoc hangs on to 1st place on the strength of his win in Week #1. He is 21-11 through two weeks. Coastalrat, Liontamerx and George are tied for 2nd at 20-12. Johnboy and Tico are in 5th at 19-13.
Full standings next week!
The best ESPN guy is 22-10.

@realjohnboy,
I imagine that the powers are extremely pleased with those results. It shows that the procedures they have in place for trying to get 32 evenly matched teams are working quite well. I suppose such an ambition is due to not having any relegation and the consequent reduction in wages.

We can't do that so much because our top four teams go into a European Cup competition and we want them to be good enough to play in that. And we want the three bottom teams to be relegated so that three hopefuls can see what the heat is like when the fire is close to your arse.

@realjohnboy,
what a week

<sobs>

I may have to reconsider my strategy of considering how teams have been playing. That didn't work so well last week.

ok, ok, I'll change two of my odd choices to the more normal sort -

Instead of Oakland, I'll pick Pittsburgh.
Instead of San Diego, I'll pick Atlanta.
I'll be perverse and leave a few other odd choices as I previously posted.

Rhys is in with his picks for Week 3. He admits to being somewhat chastened by his performance in Week #2 (6-10).
Car, Det, TB, SF, St L, NO, Indy, Wash, Mia, Buff, Atl, AZ, Hou, Pitt, NE, GB (21-17).
I am not nagging, mind you, but Liontamerx, Ragman, Edgar and JPB need to get there picks in. Ehbeth also owes us her choice for one game.
