Would you buy your tween son a "Playboy"?

I guess you've never seen any images from the books the Marquis de Sade wrote, or images from whore houses in ancient Roma.

Playboy is not exactly in the same catagory.

BTW, I'm not a fan of porn, I feel it does objectify women.
However, there's a big difference between some soft porn pictures in a playboy, and hard porn, as far as something a tween would be interested in.

I've really nothing else to say, except that while we agree on the basic premise that porn is not something that glorifies women, you've gone a bit overboard, automatically assuming all pornagraphic images are violent and/or humiliating.

If old and mature enough to ask a parent for such things, I'd say go ahead. Gonna get it anyway. Better to have them investigate under more controlled circumstances than in secret.
