@boomerang,
Yes! I did for my son at that age. It is not pornography, which is too advanced at his age, but nude women are no problem.

My son is now 42, and he has developed perfectly well. He has love and respect for women and treats his wife like a queen, and his two daughters as well.

Playboy is NOT going to harm your son. In fact, it's probably good for him and his adolescent development.

@boomerang,
I agree! If the teen want to see naked woman and then become addicted to porn where will he be when his 30 years old.

Porn is bad, where do people think rape comes from?
It a matter of time and you want to see more and more, and then it too late and start to sleep with woman and make them pregnant on a young age.

sorry but to allow these thing is a NO! He probably wants it cause his friend got it.

@claudene,
It is a well established fact that before the first pornographic image, there was no rape.

This question should be the Kirkian posit that causes the liberal super computer to smoke and plaintively declare "Does not compute."

That it isn't is proof positive of the utterly malleable, and entirely untethered nature of liberal principles.

This is an interesting topic, because different cultures look at nudity differently. I know that decades ago in Japan, bathhouses catered to both men and women. I'm not sure that practice still holds true any longer, but I know they have comic books that show nudity and violence in them - and they are very popular. It's also my understanding that rape and violence in Japan is low compared to other industrialized countries.

@cicerone imposter,
What is your point CI?

Sexual violence in the media is OK? (At least in Japan)

@boomerang,
Giving a preteen son a playboy is setting him on a dark path.

The porn industry is a dark industry and that is something that he needs to decide to look into himself as an educated adult if he wants to go in that area. It isn't something that should be thrust into a minor life, they aren't old enough to make a decision like that. That's the reason magazines like that have an age restriction.

Might as well give him alcohol and cigars as well.

Also, I believe the problem and solution are completely unrelated. If the problem is he's interested in the female body, the solution should be to get him an anatomy book. Getting him porn is a horrible solution to the problem. It would be like demolishing a house with a bulldozer if the kitchen were on fire, rather than putting out the fire itself.

That dark path had been crowd since the first playboy came out in the 1950s and even before that with such magazines as gentlemanly quarterly and likely shortly after the first printing press begin to turn out mass materials.

I find the idea both amazing and amusing that a boy growing up surrounded with female power figures such as mothers, older sisters and other adults females in the household and the female teachers in school and so on is going to go sexuality rogue if exposed to such magazines as playboy.

I still can remember finding my father playboys and getting a far more interesting pictures of adult naked females then the magazine national geographic gave me.

I already knew by that time what a younger naked female body look like thank to playing doctor with a neighborhood girl.

In fact I had just been exchanging email with that long ago little girl who is now a great grandmother over facebook.

An excellent suggestion. Just as a parent who finds junior smoking cigarettes might teach the boy a lesson by making him smoke more and more cigarettes until he gets sick, I propose that any young boy caught looking at pornography be given more and more naked women until he turns gay.
