I suppose there could be a surgeon on here but they don't work for free. I would suggest getting a consultation from one in person.

I had it done for one eyelid, not for cosmetic reasons but for the matter of my not being able to have the lid lift up much. There was an underlying condition of blepharitis as an effect of four previous eye surgeries on that eye for other reasons.
The lid lift did not work, though the surgeon was a good one and I knew to start with that it might not work.

edit - I remember that a risk I was told about was that sometimes the lid will not quite close, post surgery, and this is a difficulty you might not want to deal with.
Thus the surgeon has to be very careful in choosing her moves.
