Hey,

I'm 16 years old, have a girlfriend, and had sex. But lately I can't get a full erection while having sex with her. But when I had sex with her in the past I had a full erection.

Where I think it changed:

I think it changed when she told me that my penis was so much smaller than her ex's dig. I was really upset about her telling me that, because I felt really comfortable in bed, that night when we tried to have sex I just couldn't get a full erection, it even stayed completely soft, and ever since I can't get a full erection. I have been worrying about this a lot, and wondered what I could do about it? I searched the internet but couldn't find a real answer.

I know that it's probably anxiety, but it has gotten so bad that I can't even achieve a full erection while masturbating. I never really get a hard one and my penis doesn't raise unless it's stimulated by hand etc. although in the past, because I'm a teen, my dick would be in full erection if I even thought of a girl naked.

I just don't know what to do.
Every answer would be very much appreciated.

I'm sorry for the poor English.

@mike112,
Your English is fine. It sounds like performance anxiety to me.

And I'm sorry this is happening. I realize your girlfriend was probably just trying to be honest with you, but it looks like she could've been considerably more tactful. Men (and teenaged boys) are of various sizes. I'm not going to tell you that it doesn't matter at all, but it probably doesn't matter anywhere near as much as you fear it does.

@jespah,
Well I have an average 6" so that isn't too bad right?

@mike112,
I'd say that's right in the mid-range. That is not tiny by any stretch of the imagination.

You are using a condom and another form of birth control, right? I'd be remiss if I didn't ask. Just want you to be safe, is all.

@jespah,
Of course I use a condom. Don't want to get my girl pregnant right?

@mike112,
Just making sure - we all know the risks. Good for you for being responsible.

Omit that last post.

Totally agree with Jes.

But, I'd pose the question if you don't mind, of why your girlfriend would actually even tell you that. I understand, communication is very important and at 16 you guys are learning , experimenting and probably haven't had many partners either.

Irrespective, your answer should be, it's not the size it's how you use it.

Experience is hard but size does honestly not matter. Learn her body and what she likes and she will see what that means.
