As long as you are not a fan of the Green Bay Packers, you are welcome here.

Tommy Maddox is one of my favorites. But sorry to say, well no I'm not, but the Ravens are number 2 on my favorites list. And I was glad to see the Ravens win that division and give all others the shaft!

Hi soserene, I'm one of at least two die-hard Green Bay Packers fans here.

During the days of the Steel Curtain I was a Steelers fan. Now, except for the home team (for me it's Texans) I pick out a team as the season goes along. Last time it was the Panthers.

Welcome to A2K Soserene. I am probably the other of the "at least two Green Bay Packers fans here" mentioned above. Don't let Gus fool you. He's just upset because Brett Favre never answers his MANY love letters.

LOL occom...

*stands close to Neo*

I can't stand Brett Favre, the old washed up has been... There are SOOO many people in this world who would've been great... had they just known when to quit.

I don't mind the Ravens much really... I know as a Steelers fan I'm supposed to hate the Browns AND the Ravens... but I don't, really.. Doesn't mean I dont' crack jokes and stuff on them though.

I tend to despise individual players than entire teams. (as you can see).

I hate Michael Vick.

Had ot get that off my chest.

And GUESS WHAT!!! I'm just a Missouri gal, so we don't have Pittsburgh stuff round here, so I got on ebay last week for the first time ever and got me a Hines Ward jersey.. my first one EVER!!! Been wanting one for two years. I haven't been that excited since Christmastime when I was six!!!

soserene, no matter what else happens, that simple statement has endeared me to you, and I shall be by your side as we battle the evil cheeseheads together.

I can't stand when people call Brett Farve washed up, because that is idiotic. His numbers this year were incredible, and watching him play was also incredible.

Damn straight, Child!

And you're from Missouri, yet, soserene!

I know what you mean about knowing when to quit -- Michael Jordan annoyed me with his "encores", for example. (First one was OK...) But, yeah, Brett still has it. Really hoped (REALLY hoped) last year would be it, win the Superbowl, retire, but maybe next year...

I'd say that if Farve performs the way he did this year, and the O-Line does the same, they can win the Bowl. Also those young receivers are gonna have to not seem so young. But, my pick to win is the 49ers.

LOL... or just skip it and retire

Maybe I'm the only one.. but has it crossed any of your minds that.... Sometimes I SWEAR the NFL is "paid for"
when the whole 9/11 thing happened... the PATRIOTS came out of NOWHERE to win the superbowl?
The passing of Favre's father was atleast enough to buy him his way to the playoffs, but the war in Iraq took precedence, so again, the patriots go to the Superbowl... of course we should have known... with Tom Brady being such good friends with the Prez and all.
The mob, the government, Las Vegas, the NFL.... they're all in cahoots.
And here we thought it was only a game.

that was said PARTLY in jest. lol

Gotta find someway to explain why your team didnt' make it to the playoffs, right?

Though, it's worthy of investigation???

That is f'n stupid soserene! Guys go out there every Sunday and bust their ass even though they know that the game is already decided? Rolling Eyes

The Patriots won the Super Bowl that year because they were good. Farve lead his team to the Playoffs because he is good. Period.

Did you miss this post, Child?

One thing I love about football.. it's so easy to get people riled up.. lol (myself included). You can say stuff and not even be serious, and a football fan will take it to a whole new level. *smiles*

Favre looks like he's imbred (no offense gus).. and he doesn't even care enough to shave before he goes on National TV. (waits for the fireworks)
