Secrets of the heart

I had my annual health check-up last week and the doctor told me I had the heart of a fifty year old, rare for a man of 86 with high cholesterol. I told him I rarely went outside, spent most my time on TV and computer. He thought for a moment and finally asked if I coughed a lot. When I told him I hacked, coughed, and spit every morning, he smiled and told me it was equivalent to a half mile run.
