Scientists said in an open letter, published yesterday, the Bush administration distorting data to suit regulatory agenda.


A blue-ribbon group of 60 US scientists - including 12 Nobel laureates - has accused the Bush administration of pressuring and manipulating scientific advisory panels to generate results and recommendations that favor the administration's laissez-faire regulatory agenda in critical environmental areas such as climate change and clean air.
