To be selected as a subject in this study, a patient has to meet the following criteria simultaneously: a septicemia adult patient (developed infection and with two or more systemic inflammatory response syndromes) with clinical evidence of shock and hyperperfusion.

==========================
I've attempted to edit it, but not sure my editing to be correct:

1) To be selected as a subject in this study ===>>> To be selected into this study

2) The word "simultaneously" is not necessary there

Thank you.
Remove the word and the orginal meaning will still remain intact?
