The more you look at that one, it's not a good analogy. Whites in the 1800s really were just trying to get rid of Amerinds, they had no use for bison or bison meat. For that matter a white man who needed bison meat for food could easily enough have killed one of them with a 50-caliber black powder rifle from a safe distance while Amerinds living outide forested areas and particularly prior to the Spaniards introducing horses to North America, had only so many ways to go after large animals which could run four times faster than humans could.
