@Setanta,
This isn't going to be a blood and guts thread later is it? Chopping someone's liver out? I'm definately insignificant, it's creepy.. Did you know that David serves liver at his restaurant, cooked in lemon, damn thing jumped off my plate last week and tried to escape, I'm sure of it.

I got a suggestion -- how about we call ourselves the Chopped Liver League instead of 'club'? I just like te alliteration.

You'll have to ask Setanta, it's his thread. But I don't think he'dobject to you, of all people, being considered as chopped liver. Wink

Yes, it has nothing to do with what one eats. There is an expression, "So what am i, chopped liver?" meaning insignificant, or even invisible. So a man might be in a group of women, when one of them says: "Since were all girls here . . ." and he might say: ""So what am i, chopped liver?" This was inspired by Joe Nation using the expression.

This is a thread is for people of little to no signiicance.

Thread for people of no significance? Then it should be totally empty.

@edgarblythe,
In that case, it would go like this: "What am I, mock-chopped-liver"?

Because you're of royal blood, you are disqualified. You have to sell your tiara...I mean crown. Lucky for you, I just happen to be interested in buying.

@the prince,
Based on past experience, I don't believe Setanta would take kindly to chopped tofu as an alternative to chopped liver But you can certainly try.

@Setanta,
so a cat made from tofu would be like the supreme evil being?

sounds like a bad horror movie...
