I'll take a particular zuccotto, one with photo and recipe torn from Food & Wine in 1990. Too bad, not online.

It wasn't hard to make, as in even I could do it and I'm no dessert adept. If you happen to have saved F & W from 1990, it's there as Florentine Chocolate-hazelnut Dome.

If you fail as I did to find a link (I suppose I should scan my tear out pages), you will turn to crumbs and the ants will approach

Black Forest cake and I want the entire cake. Better yet, let me have 3 of them so I can be sure the quality is the same across the board.

I fell madly in love with the Black Forest cake the first time I had it. It almost made me forget the pistachio ice cream (or as I called it back then, Statue of Liberty ice cream because it was green).

Now there's an idea! Black Forest cake with some ice cream on the side. Very Happy

you give me just the right cake... you know.. the really gooey, yummy, sugary, cant stop eating type cake.. and i will DIE from sugar over dose.
