I'm well aware the US has the bomb. We don't. I was responding to the statement below.

So, the US keeps other nations in check because they have the bomb... except for Pakistan, India, Iran, N. Korea, Russia and all the rogue states who have managed to find old armaments and buy them on the black market.

We prefer diplomacy. It seems to have done no worse than your heavy handed method of control.

Canada doesn't need the bomb. It has a very strong neighbor to the south that, in my opinion, would not tolerate any country invading its northern neighbor. Canada also has a very strong Queen Mother that, in my opinion, would not tolerate any country invading one of its valued Commonwealth countries.

Relax. Take a deep breath. What this thread has now deteriorated to is some of us being irritated by others hijacking Set's thread and some of the hijackers being irritated at the criticism they've received. Sheeesh, what a bunch of spoiled brats.

I thought in the U.S., "possession is 9/10ths of the law," meaning that to prove something belongs to someone, when they don't have possession of the item, that person needs proof. In effect, a receipt should always stay on one's person. The fact that this was not taught to everyone may show how many get a "la de da" education.
