You dislike that you fit the definition, but that's as far as it goes, Frank.

What is so scary about accepting the reality of your own conclusions? It seems very sacred to your own self image that you aren't an atheist.

It's run its course. Tell 'em if you want.

ATTORNEY: Were you present when your picture was taken?
WITNESS: Would you repeat the question?

ATTORNEY: She had three children, right?
WITNESS: Yes.
ATTORNEY: How many were boys?
WITNESS: None.
ATTORNEY: Were there any girls?

ATTORNEY: How was your first marriage terminated?
WITNESS: By death.
ATTORNEY: And by whose death was it terminated?

You don't seem to get it. According to Frank, an atheist is someone who calls himself an atheist. Frank doesn't call himself an atheist, he calls himself an agnostic. That makes him an agnostic, even though he holds the exact same beliefs as someone who calls himself an atheist.

It seems very sacred to your self image to insist that I am one, Art. You gotta do something about that.

I would suggest developing a sense of humor. It might help you to stop taking yourself so seriously.

What does them not being equivalent have to do with it.

If they were equivalent, you would have answered my question. But since they aren't, then my question still stands: how does one express a lack of belief in Santa Claus that does not include the possibility that Santa Claus exists?

Since I do not hold any "beliefs"...that does not seem likely.

I see!

This is a huge linguistic breakthrough. Franklish is a high form of tautology!

Get someone to help you understand it, joefromchicago. You might consider someone not from Chicago!

You can either answer my question or just admit that you can't. I suspect it's the latter, but I still hold out hope for the former.

Do you know what a self image is? How could it be important for my own reflection of myself to include how you think about yourself?

Your rhetoric is converging on "I'm rubber, you're glue!"

Boasting about your inability to use critical judgement is hilarious. Not that it's even true, but it's funny that you'll go to this length to keep up the facade.

If you say so. But there is a lot funnier stuff going on in this thread than that!

I am laughing my ass off.

I have answer it. Here is my answer again:

How about: I do not believe in Santa Claus…in fact, I believe that Santa Claus does not exist?

Why another question?

Tell me what problems you have with my answer...and also tell me why you consider my answer not to be an answer.
