here is a sentence about transport, in which there is a phrase (if it was) that i cannot understand properly: "enabling a more efficient road network with reduced travel times, reduced junction clearance times, better integration among different transport modes, and improved traffic management"

so, if anyone can help me with the phrase "junction clearance times", i will be very very grateful.

A junction is very much like an intersection, so junction clearing time would be the amount of time needed for traffic from different directions to clear, or get through the junctions.
