My Google toolbar has little hearts in the search field and a heart with an arrow through it on the "Search Web" button. Anybody else notice this?
cjhsa- I dunno- To me it looks like a pair of binoculars that is red on the left, and yellow on the right eyepiece!
It may be dependent on which version of the Google Toolbar you installed. I have the "lite" version that doens't send any feedback to Google and mine hasn't changed at all.
fishin'- I have never heard of the "lite" version!
I don't think they refer to it as the "lite" version. When you go to download the tool bar though you are given the option of two toolbars. The standard one reports back to Google any searches that you make and WWW sites that you click on from those seraches. The other doesn't do any reporting back (out of privacy concerns).
In mine, the first "o" has been changed to a heart. There are pink hearts in the search field and a arrowed heart replacing the little binocs dude.
Strange.....................
Hmmh, where love fells ...
(I don't have it either, Phoenix)
I have no idea why I'm seeing this. The Google website looks normal.
I am surprised that Google dis this. One thing many people hate about the toolbar is that they automatically update it whenever they want.
They do it silently without approval so it's like a backdoor to your system.
I am very surprised that they flaunt this ability through the seasonal toolbar.
I noticed it. I thought it was sorta cute.
Oddly, no one else in my office had the same experience.
