Why does the Universe exist?

First I will address my response and then yours. I saw 'what you were getting at' but chose not to go down that dead end with you. It is a dead end and allows no possibility for genuine thought, regardless of whether or not you're in the mood to admit it.

Second, I am now questioning whether you even know what you mean by 'truth'. Saying that some 'thing' is true only exists because of the possibility of being able to empirically verify a lack of 'evidence'.

And of course the lack of evidence only 'shows up' because of the pre-supposition of there being 'truth'. BOTH are phony and are the avoidance of something. The avoidance of you dis-covering your ownmost possibility, the possibility of coming face-to-face with the possibility of the impossibility of your own existence, the possibility of Be-ing.

I am not trying to dis-prove the existence of the 'universe' here. I am not stupid enough to try that on a philosophy forum, that would be like trying to kick water uphill, never gonna happen.

I am saying you should question your fundamental basis for the construction entitled 'universe'.

Who you really are is 'where' the 'assembly' took place for the following concepts which you have used: "energy, matter, infinite and universe" - all of these only show up in your ways of describing, they are concepts which you have 'subscribed' to. Take them away and what's left? Look inside and find out.

You will always have the 'right' to do anything you want so long as you induce the necessary self-manipulative justifications.

BTW - Be-ing is not a concept, the formulation of its 'definition' is the only non-conceptual, that-which transcends or comes-before conceptualization.
