Do you think Zimmerman will be convicted of murder?

As the criminal justice system seems to be in the hands of anyone who can sell a good sounding story to the media you are more then correct.

The media love the idea of a white racist killing a poor innocent kid and details such as the kid being 6'3'" or so can be cover up by showing a picture of him at 14 instead of 17.

The fact that the white racist is no more white then Obama and is not a racist is a littler harder to cover up.

Then the fact that the only one showing signs of being beaten up is the so call white racist and................

Paramedic's are not Doctors. Doctors reports show Zimmerman had a broken nose, black eye's and cuts on his head. Your evading the fact's. Race was only first mentioned when the 911 dispatcher asked about it. Until then Zimmerman was giving an honest non-racial report. It was already pointed out to you that Martin was 5'11" and weighed 158 lbs--that info was in his autopsy report--the ME measured his body.

You think the incident happened "late at night"--it happened at a little after 7 pm.

You insist Martin was 6'3"--he was 5'11".

You went on and on about how the "first responders" were convinced Zimmerman acted in justified self defense when that was not the case at all--they wanted him arrested and charged with manslaughter.

You carry on about Zimmerman's "many wounds" when, as the photos on the previous page clearly show, he had few injuries--all of which were very minor. He was not "beaten up".

You suddenly play dumb about the issue of racial profiling when you have complained that you were profiled as a pedophile in the past, when other adults were uncomfortable with your interactions with children in a park and wanted you to leave, and you compared your case to that of blacks who are unfairly profiled--so you do understand racial profiling, and how it caused Zimmerman to notice and target Martin.

You may be too dumb to absorb and integrate all of the evidence and facts of this case, because that's what your comments suggest. You have yet to back up your statements with supporting actual evidence in this case.

Why do you think Martin said, "Get off me, get off me," when this "creepy and crazy" guy accosted him? How does that fit in with your scenario that he was the one who attacked Zimmerman first?

This was a senseless, needless killing, by a self-styled vigilante, who didn't have the self control to wait for the police to show up and properly evaluate the situation. And an innocent 17 year old is dead because of George Zimmerman's psychiatric problems, poor judgment, and lack of impulse control.

Yes, he had two small cuts on the back of his head--one an inch long, the other 1/4 of an inch long. Very minor injuries. Show me the black eyes, and evidence of a broken nose, in the photos on the previous page in this thread. Those photos were taken by the police after the shooting. No black eyes, perfectly straight nose.

Zimmerman refused all medical treatment--even that suggested by his own doctor the day after the shooting--a doctor he saw only in order to obtain clearance to return to work--because he knew he had no serious injuries.

You are naive about the issue of racial profiling--you show no indication that you even understand what it is or how it influences perception, thinking, and judgment.

So your saying the medical report is a lie? If that is the case then I hope that gets brought up in court. Next thing you are going to tell me is that if you can move your arm after an accident that means it isn't broken. The doctor report says your arm is broken, but you don't believe him because you can move your arm.

I guess you don't know the difference in break severity. I guess you also don't know that most bruising takes a few days to become apparent. Your nose doesn't get broke and your eyes turn black in 5 min. Bruising only appears after the blood as started to pool.

Isn't it to bad that the justice system won't let you hang him now, wouldn't that be easier? These pesky facts keep getting in the way of Zimmerman's guilt.

Apparently you don't realize that Zimmerman's nose was never x-rayed, re-set or packed--so the diagnosis was only speculative. His doctor advised him to see an ENT for a consultation regarding his nose, but he refused.

He received no medical treatment for the two very small cuts on the back of his head or for any injury to his nose--or for anything else related to the shooting. So he doesn't have much medical evidence to bolster his assertion that he felt his life was in imminent danger, or that he feared great bodily harm, simply based on his injuries.

The medical report from his own doctor, the only doctor he saw, won't help him much--his injuries were very minor and do not indicate he was severely injured by Martin or that he used deadly force only as a last resort--and it cannot address the issue of who started the fight, which is a crucial factor in this case.

I have no interest in hanging Zimmerman. I want him to have his day in court and a fair trial. But I do want to see a comprehensive evaluation of all the evidence in this case, and that would have to include the evidence that contradicts, or fails to support, his version of events. And it would also have to include the evidence that Zimmerman had a prior history of problems with aggression, and he was on psychiatric medication for ADD/hyperactivity/impulsivity, because those things help to explain a pattern of behavior on his part that was also evident in the incident with Martin.

There is no question of his guilt in committing a homicide--he admits he shot Martin. The only issue is whether his actions were legally justifiable self-defense under Florida law, or whether they constituted second degree murder or manslaughter.

In this thread you could get a few hundreds megawatts of power if you could just hooked up the spinning Firefly to a large electric generator.

Facts such as Zimmerman would not be consider white by most white racists and that all his known past behaviors indicate he was not a racist.

That the only one that seem to had been beaten was Zimmerman with no marks of the poor innocent 6' 3" tall "kid" other then the one gun shot.

To sum up Zimmerman should never had been charge as this is as clear a case of self defense as anyone could get and if the Fireflies of the world get their way we would all had lost the legal right to defense ourselves and our love ones if attack by a 6 ' 3'' "child" on the public streets if you are non black and the "child " is black.
