My period started 15 days ago and it seemed normal maybe a little, but pretty much normal flow. Now my question comes from three days ago (and currently) I have bright red blood with brown clots. My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for a little over a year. I'm pretty sure I'm not pregnant (I haven't taken a test yet as its too early). I'm not dizzy, weak, or having any cramping so I'm not sure what this could be. Most importantly I've never been with anybody in 16 year with anybody but my husband. Can anybody help?

Is it at all possible that you could be injured in that area? I don't necessarily mean from sex; it's possible to scratch yourself with your own fingernails.

You should see your gynecologist. Intermittent bleeding can be symptoms of many things.
