Can you own a tiger cub at all? And if you can what are the requirements?

Probably depends on the country/state you live in as laws vary, but it's doubtful that it would be permitted.

The ability to care for a fully grown tiger would be a help.

Frankly, I hope that you are NOT allowed to own a tiger cub. Firstly, they are a rare and endangered species and any animal not in the wild ought to be part of a well organised breeding program.

Secondly, they are large wild animals. Unless you are an experienced and very well resourced person, you cannot possibly meet the tiger's requirements fully or safely.

I agree with C - Bass, "tiger cubs" grow and they are endangered species
