Little Steps....Big Steps

One week without ritalin (during which I must admit I've been crabby) and outside of my diabetes meds I'm now completely free of prescription meds for the first time in I don't know how long. My goal for 2012? Get off the insulin and metformin and control my diabetes strictly through exercise and diet. It's worked with everything else. You'll know I succeeded when you read I was hit by a bus.

@blueveinedthrobber,
I've been dried up on smoking out for three weeks now. That's the longest I've gone in probably 6 years. It's been a little bit of an adjustment, to say the least; but, with some life changes, it's been overdue.

I hear ya on the crabbiness - I've been a lot snappier than usual.

@blueveinedthrobber,
Congratulations on the de-medding and best of everything towards getting off the insulin.
