Isn't "cell" a single room for prisoners in a jail?

So I failed to get '"special housing" in his own cell', because a cell is so small that cannot have a house in it... Razz

Context:

The Army said Bales was being held in "special housing" in his own cell rather than the standard four-person room. The prison houses pre-trial and convicted soldiers sentenced up to five years confinement and has a 464-person capacity.

In this case the meaning is

I don't agree.

Cell in "in his own cell" is a noun, yet the definition you gave here is a verb.

Instead of being imprisioned in a small room that can hold four inmates, he is in a "special" room that only holds one.
