Honestly, do you think this will happen?

Everyday I have to walk down a busy main road to get to my bus stop. It is about a 20 minute walk. For every car that goes past, I smell a lot of car fumes. I s this bad for my lungs? Will it have any long - term affects? Or does the amount of fresh air cancel it out? Any advice will be much appreciated x

Spend as much time as you can in fresh air and as little time as you need to in traffic.
