Here in Austin.

Just walked out the front door and said "what the...."

Across the street, my neighbor was taking a picture of it falling.

It's not sticking, cause it rained earlier.

@chai2,
All I know about snow in Austin is the 1920ish snow that my grandmother told of. They had moved there a few months before from a colder climate and for unknown reasons had brought along a sled. They were from her remembering the only folks in town with a sled.

She left town soon after and the rest is the story of how I eventually came to be...

Enjoy the snow, maybe some will adhere to grass and trees and even car tops so children can have some fun (maybe even the occasional adult can join in on the merriment).

You've got a great imagination Strugis.

It wasn't snowing by the time I drove maybe 4 blocks.

A couple hours ago, while I was at the dog park, it was trying to snow here in ABQ. Flakes would blow in on the winds and then let up again, never actually lasting long enough to reach the ground.

If the moisture in the air sticks around, we should have a little accumulated snow on the ground for a few minutes tomorrow morning.

It's snowing in Albuquerque at the moment -- big flakes, not just the usual light flurries we get.

In the course of one hour yesterday, it was sunny, it hailed, it snowed, it hailed again, it snowed again, it hailed and snowed at the same time, then the sun came out again--and about an hour after that, it was sunny and it was snowing.

We got about an inch of snow overnight. It was all dried up by 10 a.m. Now it is in the high 50's. I'm hoping this is winter's last hurrah around these parts.
