According to this study, those who are born with lower intelligence, tend to favor right-wing views, and are more likely to embrace racist and discriminatory views.

This might spark some silly quarrel, and it seems like the kind of study some might find offensive.
Do you find it offensive?
Hypothetically, if a study conclusively proved that people with red hair have better genes, and people with blonde hair has poorer genes, would that be considered offensive or discriminating to blond people?

@Cyracuz,
Since you say 'conclusively proved', no. A statement of fact is not discriminating. Offensive, maybe.

@roger,
I agree. However, charging blond people more for health insurance based on such a study would be discriminating, wouldn't it?

@Cyracuz,
In my observation of more than 3O years,
Mensa is rife & fraught with libertarians (like me); libertarianism is right wing
because the Instrument from which we do NOT vary is one of liberty
( by constricting government jurisdiction ).
Liberal distortion of that Instrument expands jurisdiction.

Accordingly, it has been attributed to Mensa that attempting to lead
Mensans is like trying to herd cats.

Admittedly, there R liberals in Mensa.
Some of them r my friends.

I think you have to separate fundamentalist right wingers from true conservatives. Then, it should balance a bit better.

@Cyracuz,
Definately discriminating, but like lambs preferring not to lie down with lions, discrimination is not always a bad idea. If I were an insurance company, I would be very sure of my facts before instigating such a policy.

@Cyracuz,
I don't find it offensive, I find it ludicrous.

Any and all of these so-called scholastic studies are bullshit designed to support the orignators partisan pre-conceptions.

Interestingly enough many of the folks who might accept this study as true also bemoan IQ tests.

How did Prof Asshole decide "who are born with lower intelligence?"

I've no problem conceding that there are plenty of intelligent liberals. This is with the knowledge that measures of intelligence don't correspond with measures of common sense or wisdom.
