"My first self-test was surviving a very bumpy start to my career as a PwC auditor in Florida. Nearly fired for total incometence, I began a visualization program that would impress any avatar, averting disaster at work while 'serendipitously' landing myself in the international tax department, which afforded me the opportunity to travel all over the world." -----Mike Dooley Manefisting Change

What is a "visualization program"? Since this book mainly talks about how thoughts become things, is this program a kind of metaphysical practice?
What does "impress any avatar" mean?

@Justin Xu,
I think these terms, "visualization program" and "impress my avatar" are terms that were invented by this particular author. They aren't standard English terms.

It sounds like this author is talking about some New Age religious ideas.
