No, don't do it. It has an evil hypnotic ray that will cause you to lose consciousness for the next 24-36 hours and vote multiple times for the wrong candidate.

I didn't see it (MAN it's cold out there) but got confirmation from a neighbor, who did. I don't know why I find this so hilarious.

The Financial Times joins the Economist in endorsing Obama. I guess the financial world is not so enthusiastic about Romney's business experience.

@engineer,
It's a simple choice if you understand simple economics. Mitt Romney is for giving bigger tax breaks to the wealthy, and higher taxes to the middle class while increasing our national debt; that's a recipe for disaster to our economy.

Obama has shown a slow but steady improvement in our economy; as expected after the Great Recession of GW Bush. If not for Obama's stim bill and support for the middle class with tax cuts and extension of unemployment benefits, our economy today would be worse off. Increase in jobs is improving after the GW Bush debacle of losing some 800,000 jobs every month before Obama took over the helm. That is of itself is a miracle of sorts - as if almost on a dime. When people bother to at look at the US economy against all the other developed countries, we're still the strongest economy in the world. That's saying something! Look what's happening in Europe.

Well, duuuuuuh. What that says, CI, is that the US has had the opportunity that those countries haven't had to rape and pillage most of the world's poorer countries.

Under Obama we're becoming more like (southern) Europe every day, and as you have noted, that's not good.

Economic prosperity, health and a strong social support network continue to correspond highly with happiness. Once again, the United States fails to make the top 10 happiest nations in the world, while countries like Australia, Israel and all of the Scandinavian nations do.

@cicerone imposter,
In other words, it's not that our country is spending too much; it's that tax revenue is too low. We also have the biggest defense budget in the world; we are not the world's police; that's an international responsibility.

a much bigger cost problem is our obese health care system, which is a problem that nether obama or the dems seem the least bit interested in dealing with
