What's the difference between "the man she loveth" and "the man she desireth"?

If a mid love a man, and dream she is going to church with another man, and that she run from him, then she will assuredly have the man she desireth, but if she dream she goeth into church with another man, then she will have the man she loveth.

That's a rather obscure passage. I'm just speculating here, but it would appear that by "the man she loveth" the author means the man she is willing to marry; but that by "the man she desireth" the author means the man with whom she wants to have sexual relations. The meaning is not clear.

It's kind of hard to be sure here, as Set said the passage is obscure.
I think it is probably intended to point out the difference between love and desire, while hinting at the wisdom in knowing the difference.
