I think, what you eat is what you will end up being.... in the modern world it seems to be.. Pretty sick. one of the many strange things put into packaged food is food preservative.... if it's put in to preserve food, then you put it in your stomach, what happens to the preservative.. It sure doesn't preserve us dose it .

There is an old book with that title - "You Are What You Eat." Our Aunt had a copy and followed its teachings faithfully. It was written by a Dr. Lindlauer - that's not exactly right. But a similar sounding name.

Here's a "newer" work you might be interested in. Note the final paragraph - 13 Chapters! Rather expensive, but maybe some library has it.

The preservatives are usually added to preserve the flavor and texture of the food product as well as inhibit microbial growth.

The preservative is frequently degraded by microsomal enzymes in the liver. Further detoxification results upon elimination via the feces and urine. Smile
